I’ve gone to meetings, I’ve begun working with a sponsor for the first time, and I joined a running club. All of these things are so far out of my comfort zone. But I’m starting to feel something that I haven’t felt in a very long time: hopeful about my future. ”
THE POWER FORWARD SOBER LIVING SCHOLARSHIP
Whether you are battling for the Stanley Cup, or fighting for your recovery, you cannot do it alone. That’s why we created the Power Forward Sober Living Scholarship. Our Scholarship provides your first three to six weeks of sober housing for those in recovery. This program fills a critical gap in the recovery process, providing recipients with safe, sober housing security during the essential days and weeks immediately following treatment, or lifeline to those in recovery whose housing instability threatens their sobriety.
These are the personal stories of two of the first recipients of this scholarship:
ED’S STORY
Ed had a home, a career, and direction until his life was shattered by addiction. Now, with the help of the Power Forward Sober Living Scholarship, Ed is picking up the pieces and re-writing his story.

CARRIE’S STORY
Carrie had nearly two years of sobriety, but the instability of her home life threatened her recovery. Power Forward was there to provide the time to get back on her feet at this moment in her journey.

Power Forward offers three to six week scholarships to vetted MASH Certified Sober Homes that we have pre-existing relationships. Please see attached list for our partners.
While it is our goal to one day expand the scope of this incredible project, we are currently able to offer sober living scholarships in MASSACHUSETTS ONLY.
